1. General Information
Who is the controller of your personal data? The controller of your personal data is Worldwide School spółka jawna A. Piechowska, W. Piechowski with its registered office at ul. Świętokrzyska 30 lok. 63; 00-116 Warsaw (hereinafter “Worldwide School” or “we”).
2. For what purpose do we process your personal data?
Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
in order for us to take the necessary steps related to the conclusion and performance of a contract – based on the contract concluded between you and Worldwide School (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
in order to conduct the recruitment process – based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation – Art. 221 § 1 of the Labor Code), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (taking steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract), Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent – expressed through a clear affirmative action, i.e., sending application documents) in the event the candidate provides a broader scope of data than indicated in legal provisions;
in order to use the submitted application documents for future recruitment needs – based on the consent expressed by the candidate (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR);
in order to establish, exercise or defend legal claims – based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
in order to conduct marketing activities and provide commercial information (e.g., receiving a newsletter, information about promotions and competitions organized by Worldwide School) – based on your consent to the processing of personal data for the purpose indicated by us each time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); Your consent is voluntary. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, however, the withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the prior data processing;
in order to respond via the contact form – based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
in order to fulfill obligations resulting from legal provisions, e.g., to issue and archive invoices in connection with the concluded contract – the basis for data processing is the necessity of processing to fulfill the legal obligation incumbent on Worldwide School (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
3. How long will we process your personal data?
We will process your data for a period that varies each time depending on the legal basis for processing:
if the legal basis for processing is a contract concluded with Worldwide School – for the entire duration of this contract, and additionally – to the extent permitted by law – for the purpose of establishing or defending claims until they are time-barred;
if the legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest – as long as the data is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed or until an effective objection is submitted by the data subject;
if the legal basis is the consent granted by you – until its withdrawal, and in the case of the recruitment process – until its completion;
if the legal basis is an obligation resting on us under legal provisions – as long as the legal provisions require it.
4. Who can we transfer your personal data to?
We may transfer your personal data to other entities:
external entities providing and supporting Worldwide School’s ICT systems (general ICT infrastructure, e-mail, IT systems used by Worldwide School);
entities providing legal, accounting, OHS services and all those whose services are required for the proper functioning of Worldwide School;
entities conducting postal and courier activities;
banks, in the event of the need to conduct settlements;
state authorities or other entities authorized by law, in order to perform obligations imposed on us (Tax Office, National Labour Inspectorate [PIP], Social Insurance Institution [ZUS], Police, Courts);
entities enabling remote payment transactions.
Your data will not be transferred to countries outside the EEA.
Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making nor will it be profiled.
5. What personal data of yours do we process?
Personal data is any information that allows you to be identified directly or indirectly together with other information to which Worldwide School has access.
We process personal data of the following groups of subjects:
job candidates,
participants of language training who have concluded a service provision contract with us (name and surname, PESEL number, contact phone, address, e-mail),
our teachers (name and surname, contact phone, e-mail, NIP number, PESEL number, ID card series and number, bank account),
our external contractors and their representatives (name and surname, contact phone, address, e-mail, NIP number, bank account).
users of the angielski.pl website (name and surname, phone number, e-mail address, IP address),
users of the www.wirtualnaklasa.com.pl website (name and surname, phone number, e-mail address, IP address).
We do not process special categories of personal data.
The website uses cookies Cookies are small text information sent by a web server and saved on the user’s side. The default parameters of cookies allow the information contained in them to be read only by the server that created them. Cookies on this website contain the name of the website from which they originate, their storage time on the end device, and a unique number. The entity placing cookies on the Website User’s end device and accessing them is the Website operator or cooperating entities.

In connection with data processing by Worldwide School, within the limits indicated by law, you have the following rights:
the right to access data,
the right to rectify them,
the right to delete data (along with the right to be forgotten),
the right to restrict data processing,
the right to object to data processing,
the right to data portability,
the right to withdraw consent if data processing takes place on the basis of a voluntarily expressed consent.
Additionally, if despite our support you consider that we are processing your data contrary to the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, i.e., the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
